Miss Threadgold:

The film Miss Threadgold features the drama class of the New Horizons centre in West London under the direction of their tutor Carol Allen and is an example of what can be achieved by older learners in an intergenerational context.  The film was shown in an early assembly at the AEA Conference in Birmingham in July 2011, where several delegates said they would be interested in using it in their own work with older learners. It is now available on DVD.

Background information on the making of the film, the centre and the students can be accessed here:  Miss Threadgold production notes.pdf
